Application Method
1. Meticulous Surface Preparation
Wash the vehicle thoroughly before completing chemical decontamination and clay-bar treatment. Perform the necessary paint correction to remove swirls, oxidation and visible defects. The surface must be perfectly clean, dry and properly prepared before coating application.
Ceramic coatings lock in the condition of the underlying paint. Proper preparation is therefore essential for achieving strong bonding, maximum gloss and long-term durability.
2. Hand Application
Apply the SiO₂ ceramic coating by hand, working on one manageable section at a time. A minimum of two layers must be applied evenly across the paintwork to achieve the intended film thickness, protection and finish.
Allow each layer to set according to the recommended application process before applying the next layer. Use suitable lighting to inspect every section for high spots or uneven residue. (2nd layer must be applied within 1 hour of the first layer)
3. Curing
Keep the vehicle completely dry for the first 48 hours after application. Do not wash the vehicle during the first seven days.
The coating reaches its full cure after approximately seven days. Correct curing is essential for maximum hardness, chemical bonding and long-term protective performance.
